Nevira X1 basically is a rewritten version of Nevira. We announced so many new stuff for Nevira, and here's a recap for it:

Hold up. The release version name doesn't seem right...
That's because the actual version number of Nevira X1 is 6.0.0, while X1 is the codename. It's like how Nevira v5 Mountain is v5's codename, but it's much simpler now. So Nevira X1 is basically Nevira v6. But better than how we previously imagined it.
Beta vs. Release candidate
Nevira X1 Beta is an incomplete version of Nevira X1. If we were to compare where we are right now with the phases announced in the blog post from April 12, we would be in the early stages of phase 2.

New icons, who dis?
We made slight changes to reflect how modern app icons have been evolving. Our icons used to be flat and had gradients, but with our new icons, we're adding exactly what we used to add, but...with depth.
Yes, we tried to reflect macOS 11/12 and Windows 11 icons.

A new life-saving feature
Hopefully.
We added a new feature to the nv!weather command for both stable (v5) and beta (X1) releases, and we believe that it's literally life-saving. You can now get weather alerts if any are issued for the region you've searched the weather for, so you can keep you and your loved ones safe. It's pretty life saving, am I right?
